Citrus County Seeks Applicants for Advisory Boards

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications for seven advisory boards. Board members are volunteers who lend their expertise to help inform decisions made in Citrus County.

All board members must be residents and electors of Citrus County. Applications are available at citrusbocc.com/boardapplication and should be submitted to Denise.Gallagher@citrusbocc.com. Beverly Hills MSBU
The Beverly Hills MSBU is seeking two regular members. Applicants must live within the MSBU and own a home in the district.

Citrus Springs MSBU
The Citrus Springs MSBU is seeking three regular members. Applicants must live within the MSBU and own a home in the district.

Code Review and Appeals Board (CRAB)
The Code Review and Appeals Board is seeking three members — one regular member and two alternate members. Members must be familiar with and able to work with the Florida Building Code.

Historical Advisory Board
The Historical Advisory Board is seeking two members with a background in architecture, history, planning, archaeology, folklore, cultural anthropology, curation, conservation, landscape architecture or a related field.

Industrial Development Authority
The new Citrus County Industrial Development Authority is seeking five board members. Experience in business, finance, investments, banking, real estate or insurance is preferred.

Special Library District Advisory Board
The Special Library District Advisory Board is seeking five qualified members. The board advises the Board of County Commissioners on public library budgets, policies, services and other matters.

The Tourist Development Council is seeking four members. One member must have an interest in tourist development, and three must be owners or operators of tourist accommodations.
